2020 November 13-15: JSCE 62th IP Conference (online) The 62th Conference on Infrastructure Planning and Management was held by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE). From our laboratory, Prof. Nakamura, Asst. Prof. Kakimoto, Asst. Prof. Zhang, Mr. Sekihara (Research fellow), Mr. Emagnu (D3), Mr. Zhou (M2), Ms. Gao(M2), Mr. Nishigaki(M2) and Mr. Inamoto (B4) made presentations on their research work and had discussions with other participants. October 13-15: International Doctoral Seminar (online) The 16th International Doctoral Seminar (IDS) was held with institutes of traffic and transport of four universities: Technische Universität Darmstadt (Germany), Nagoya University (Japan), Tongji University (China), and Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (India). We discussed the research topics of all participants online intensively, and enjoyed the social events prepared by labs from each univerisity.
September 17: Summer Joint Presentations with Kato Lab and Iryo Lab Joint mid-term presentations were held with Kato Lab and Iryo Lab. M2 and B4 students presented and discussed their research framework and current progress.
August 6: Final Defence and Public Hearing of Doctoral Dissertation Mr.ZHU Hong (D3 student) presented his doctoral dissertation in a online public hearing. As this was the online public hearing, we invited people from inside and outside the university, as well as Mr.ZHU Hong's wife, to participate in the presentaion of his research results. The title of his dissertation is listed on this page.
July 30: Master Thesis Presentations The final presentations of master course students were held by the Department of Civil Engineering, Nagoya University. From our lab, M2 student Mr. AYURZANA made a presentation on his research results. The title of his thesis is listed on this page.
June 10: Mr. Hiroyuki Konda received the "Roads and Traffic Dissertation Award" Mr. Hiroyuki Konda, Collaborative researcher of our lab, received the "Roads and Traffic Dissertation Award 2019" of the Express-Highway Research Foundation of Japan for his paper co-authored with Prof. Nakamura. Congratulations!
March 25: Graduation certificate awarding (Spring) A graduation certificate awarding was held in Nagoya University from Prof.Nakamura. M2 student - Mr. He received his Master's degree, and B4 student - Mr. Hirose received his Bachelor's degree.

January 12~16: 99th TRB Annual Meeting The 98th TRB Annual Meeting was held by Transportation Research Board, in Washington D.C., US. From our lab, Mr. Zhu (D3) and Mr. Pan (D1) made a poster presentation. The title of his presentation is listed on this page.
