8th meeting (May 2019, Mumbai)

We arranged a Special Session titled "International Practice on Road Traffic Control" at the WCTR 2019, Mumbai on 28th May, 2019. It was held to introduce the book "Global Practices on Road Traffic Signal Control", written by the SIG C2 members and published as the first book of the WCTRS-Elsevier Co-branded book series. After the opening address by Prof. Yoshitsugu Hayashi (the president of WCTR) and Prof. Keshuang Tang (the chair of the SIG C2), five international experts provided their reports on traffic signal control in USA and Canada, Germany and Austria, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, and India. We could have a fruitsful discussion with many researchers from around the world.

After the Special Session, we held the 8th meeting of the SIG C2. In the meeting, we reviewed our activities during the past three years (2016~2019) and reviewed the outcomes in the WCTR Mumbai. After that, we also discussed about our futur activities.
